about

Because a 15 year old kid named Allan Day was so moved by punk rock that he began writing his own songs, chronicling the world around him, emulating his idols.

Because those songs were typed on a Smith Corona and lay in a bin for years, chord progressions committed to memory, some demoed over the years, others coaxed from the recesses.

Because of the failed efforts back then by that 15 year old to assemble a band called The Discs, even though he and fellow punk Glenn assembled a meeting with bassist Minda and others. For lack of interest, though, the project was abandoned...until now.

Because recording and releasing a Discs album in hellish 2020 would simply be more fun than not doing so.
